Responsive

So far I like it. Sometimes I can’t get it to line up on my nipple quite that well and it takes a few times of lining it up. They are easy to use & hands free, just a little bulky. The parts are easy to take apart and clean, but there are a bunch of tiny parts. Hopefully it’ll get easier and faster, so I can use this when I go back to work.

Best hands free pump hands down
I did research for a hands free pump for over a week before landing on the Elvie pump. I own a Medela Sonata from my last pregnancy and wanted something to make life easier once I go back to work. I love how simple it is to put it into a nursing bra and go on with my day. It’s not totally silent but if there’s any background noise whatsoever, you will not be able to hear the pump working; it’s a very low suction sound. The only con I’ve noticed is it does not empty me as well as my Medela pump, but with time I hope to find my niche with the setting. I absolutely love this pump!

Great pump for on the go
I LOVE the convenience of my Elvie. Not being tied to a plug in or stuck sitting in one place is invaluable to me. The few cons are it is a bit leaky and the app is a little inaccurate for the ounces pumped. I’ve found if you limit your activity to prevent milk from sloshing too much it’s close to accurate and it only leaks a bit from the shields. I overproduce so the leaking doesn’t bother me, but if you don’t produce a lot anyways this could possibly be frustrating to lose any amount of milk. You also have to be sure you have all of the equipment reassembled correctly and that it is all dry or you wont get great suction. The suction for me personally was great and I use this as my primary pump. If you’re looking for a portable option I highly recommend the Elvie. Once I return to work (a desk job) this will be SO helpful to keep me productive AND pumping.
I’m already in love with this pump and I’ve only had it a few days! I upgraded for the convenience at work. With my last baby it was a hassle to use my Spectra at work and lug everything back and forth every day. I planned to keep the old one at home and use this one at work, however I’ve already been using it at home and out and about. The videos are very helpful and the pump is very easy to use. I highly recommend this pump!
