How It Works
- Wash & Sanitize Parts: Clean all washable components (breast shields, valves, diaphragms, cup fronts) with warm soapy water or place them on the top rack of the dishwasher. Allow parts to fully air-dry before assembly.
- Assemble the Cups: Insert the diaphragm, valve, and breast shield into each cup front, then attach the cup seal securely. Connect the short tubes to each cup.
- Charge the Hub: Use the USB-C charging cable to fully charge the pump hub (typically ~2–3 hours). A solid LED indicates full charge.
- Fit & Position: Place the assembled cups inside your bra, ensuring your nipple is centered in the breast shield and the cups create a comfortable, secure seal.
- Connect & Customize: Attach the long tube from the hub to the tube splitter, then to each cup. Power on the hub, open the Pump with Elvie app, pair via Bluetooth, choose Stimulation or Expression mode, and adjust one of the 10 intensity levels.

Are different Breast Shield sizes available?
Elvie Stride comes with 24 mm Breast Shields included in the box. Additional sizes—21 mm and 28 mm—are available for purchase separately.
Breast Shields are sized based on the width of your nipple base. Measure with a ruler and match your size to the guide below:
- 16–18 mm: Use a 21 mm Breast Shield.
- 18–21 mm: Use a 24 mm Breast Shield.
- 21–25 mm: Use a 28 mm Breast Shield.
Note: Nipple size can change throughout your breastfeeding journey, so check your sizing regularly.
