Last week we headed over to San Diego to give over 70 Active Duty moms and moms-to-be a beautiful baby shower. Upon arrival of our guests, we were greeted by our super awesome emcee, Ashley Camac, the Director of Operations and Programs at USO San Diego. 

The moms walked around and introduced themselves to other mommies, and we did some fun activities to get the baby shower started!

Giveaways That BLUE Us Away!

What is a baby shower without some fun games and free gifts? We kicked off the shower by showering our attendees with a gift box with 12-month baby milestone cards and a plush toy as a picture prop. The mommies also played games like "Baby Unscramble" and won raffle items. Also, each mom received a brand new diaper bag bursting with baby goodies.

Lunch was served and mommies were snapping pictures at the photo booth with our Instagram props, and more raffle items were given out! Winners received a Safety 1st® Smooth Ride Travel System, BabySense Video Monitor, Ingenuity Trio 3-in-1 High Chair, and so much more!

A RED-iculously Fun Event!

We are thankful to USO San Diego for giving us the opportunity to sponsor such a wonderful baby shower for these military moms. We would like to send our special thanks to Idabelle Gutierrez, the Program Assistant at USO San Diego for planning the shower. She was so great to work with, and she helped bring the event to life with all the beautiful decorations and centerpieces.

We also had some volunteer organizations who had booths set up with resources for our attendees. We'd like to thank NMCRS MCRD, SDWIC, First 5 San Diego, Miramar/MRCD Baby Boot Camp, and March of Dimes for their tremendous support to make the shower a success!
