- Assemble & Sterilize: Wash all parts (cups, shields, valves, diaphragms, tubing) in warm soapy water or steam for 5 minutes; snap together the silicone cup, breast shield, valve & diaphragm, then attach tubing and hub.
- Charge: Plug each Elvie hub into a 5 V/1 A USB-C power source; charge for ~2.5 hours until the LED turns solid green.
- Fit & Seal: Use the sizing tool to select the correct nipple insert; tuck cups into a pocketed nursing bra and adjust the waistband clip or neck strap for a snug, leak-proof seal.
- Pair & Customize: Open the Elvie app, pair via Bluetooth, select Stimulation or Expression mode, and choose your preferred intensity level (1–10).
- Pump Hands-Free: Enjoy up to 180 minutes of cordless pumping; auto shut-off activates at 30 minutes; monitor milk flow live and detach to store when done.

What does hospital-grade suction mean?
Hospital-grade power breast pumps feature strong suction and specialized expression technology. Elvie Stride 2 delivers pressures from –270 mmHg up to –300 mmHg* with 10 intensity settings in both Stimulation and Expression modes—matching or exceeding other hospital-grade pumps.
Unlike some hospital-grade pumps, Elvie Stride 2 is single-user only and must never be shared.

Which breast shield sizes are available for Elvie Stride 2?
Every Elvie Stride 2 ships with a 28 mm breast shield attached. Five silicone insert sizes (24 mm, 21 mm, 19 mm, 17 mm, 15 mm) are included, fitting 99% of nipples.*

How do I use the neck strap with Elvie Stride?
When you’re on the move, the neck strap lets you wear the pump’s hub around your neck—ideal if you’re not using a waistband and to keep the hub out of little hands.
